Tropical Storm Gonzalo has weakened as it approaches Grenada on Saturday, July 25. However, the storm has traveled further southward than expected, and the islands will reportedly be more affected than previously forecast, with Gonzalo set to pass between Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago. A tropical storm warning is in effect for Grenada and its dependencies, with 25 mm to 75 mm (1-3 in) of rain forecast. As of 11:00 (local time), the storm was 200 km (128 miles) southeast of Grenada, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph (40 mph). The storm is expected to remain small and to lose power as it heads over the Caribbean.

Heavy rainfall, flooding, rough seas, and high winds remain possible in parts of the Windward Islands.
