Afghanistan: Reports of UVIED detonation in Kabul's Police District 9 on August 10

On Monday, August 10, an under-vehicle improvised explosive device (UVIED) was reportedly detonated in a targeted attack on an Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) vehicle, located in the Macroryan District of Kabul's Police District 9 (PD9). Initial reports state that at least two people were wounded in the explosion.

Localized disruptions are possible in the area in the near term.
