Afghanistan: UVIED blast reported in Kabul's PD5 August 19

An under-vehicle improvised explosive device (UVIED) detonated against a vehicle in Kabul's Police District 5 (PD5) on Wednesday, August 19. Local sources indicate that the incident occurred at 07:30 (local time) and at least one civilian was killed and another wounded in the blast.

Localized disruptions are possible in the area in the near term.
