At least three people were injured, including a journalist, as Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers broke up a protest in the village of Kafr Qaddum (West Bank) on Saturday, September 19. Local media sources report that soldiers used live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas to disperse the crowd, who were demonstrating against the closure of the village's main entrance and Israeli settler activities. Several others were reportedly treated for tear gas inhalation.
