An Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier and one policeman were wounded on Wednesday, September 2, in a suspected vehicle-ramming attack near the Tapu'ah Junction (West Bank), south of Nablus. The incident reportedly occurred when a car was driven at speed toward a group of IDF personnel. The driver was wounded when other IDF soldiers opened fire on the perpetrator.

A heightened security presence is to be anticipated in the area over the coming hours. Further such attacks cannot be ruled out.
