Israel: Suspected Lebanese Hizballah projectile lands near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport Nov. 6
Flight disruptions possible after rocket lands near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, Israel, Nov. 6. Tight security, further attacks likely.
Approximtely 10 suspected Lebanese Hizballah (LH) rockets targeted central Israel, with at least one projectile striking a location near Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) in Tel Aviv Nov. 6. Some flights have reportedly been delayed. No injuries were reported.
Lingering disruptions are likely following the conclusion of the strike as the airport deals with passenger backlogs and airlines reposition aircraft and crew. Further cross-border violence is likely over the coming hours and days.
Avoid the vicinity of the impact sites until authorities have given the all-clear and vacated the area. Monitor local media and abide by security forces' directives. If incoming mortar rounds or rockets are reported or warning sirens sound in the general vicinity, report to the nearest bomb shelter and await further instructions from authorities. If there is no shelter nearby, stay indoors and away from windows and exterior walls. If possible, move to a ground floor or basement. Maintain contact with your diplomatic representation. Consider avoiding nonessential travel to Israel until the situation stabilizes.
