North Macedonia: Opposition demonstrators to gather in Skopje September 23

The opposition Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization - Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity (VMRO-DPMNE) has called for a demonstration in Skopje on Wednesday, September 23, in protest of the government's policies and alleged political violence. Protesters intend to gather outside of the Ministry of Justice from 18:30 (local time) before marching to the Primary Court. 

Associated business and transportation disruptions are to be anticipated near the demonstration site, as well as a heightened security presence.
