In La Serena, overland disruptions were reported as demonstrators crowded into the streets in the vicinity of Cordovez Street. 

Further protests are to be anticipated in Chile in the coming days and weeks. A heightened security presence and localized transport disruptions are expected in the vicinity of any demonstration and clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out.
