The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out several airstrikes against Hamas underground structures and military posts in the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Sunday, November 15. The strikes were reportedly in retaliation to two rockets that were launched into southern Israel from the territory. No injuries were immediately reported in Israel or Gaza.
Continued attacks on Israeli border communities are possible in the near term, as well as Israeli retaliatory airstrikes. Further escalation of the situation cannot be ruled out.
