Activists plan to march in central Prague the afternoon of Jan. 8 in support of US President Donald Trump and to denounce official coronavirus disease (COVID-19) restrictions. Participants will gather at 1400 at various sites in the city center and march to the US embassy where they will rally until 1700. Approximately 100 people are likely to join the event.

Additional police will deploy to monitor the protest. Related security measures could prompt minor localized transport disruptions in protest-affected areas. The demonstration is likely to conclude peacefully; however, isolated skirmishes are possible if police attempt to disperse protesters.
