Unionized delivery workers plan to stage an indefinite strike across South Korea from Jan. 29. The purpose of the action is to press for reforms to alleviate employee workload. Unions estimate that around 2,800 delivery workers employed by private companies will join in the work stoppage. Thousands of additional workers employed by the state-run Korea Post plan to support the strike by refusing to deliver packages unless they are presorted.
