Gainesville, Florida: Gainesville City Hall, 1800
Houston, Texas: Houston City Hall, 1800
New York City, New York: Union Square, 1700
Impromptu or spontaneous gatherings are likely in other cities; such demonstrations could manifest outside city halls, state capitols, public squares, government buildings, or near major intersections. Counterprotests by opposing political groups are also possible.

Context
On Jan. 6, dozens of protesters affiliated with the Proud Boys and the Million Maga March breached security cordons and entered the Capitol building. At least one protester was shot and critically wounded during the incident. The Capitol building was placed under lockdown, and a major security operation with National Guard and police units were deployed to the area. Clashes with police were reported.
