Planned water outages are affecting parts of Selangor State's Klang, Petaling, and Shah Alam districts 09:00 March 30-09:00 April 1. The water agency Air Selangor said maintenance works would disrupt supplies to 31 areas; affected locations in Shah Alam include Taman Batu Tiga, Taman Desa Kemuning, and sections 22, 25-30, and 32-34.
Business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of water. Prolonged works may delay the restoration of supplies.
Advice
Stockpile water. Minimize nonessential use of water throughout the rationing period. Water quality may be poorer than normal after service resumes; run taps for a few minutes before use.
