A police investigation along railway tracks in Manukau, south of Auckland, is prompting rail service disruptions as of early March 26. Officers have reported finding a body near the tracks; however, no further details concerning the incident have been released. Officials have suspended services along the Southern Line between Otahuhu and Pukekohe, as well as along the Eastern Line. Cancellations and delays may continue in the coming hours.

Additionally, heavy fog has disrupted traffic in parts of the region. Foggy conditions are believed to have contributed to a traffic accident along the Waikato Expressway at Hampton Downs. Officials have warned commuters to allow additional travel time.
