North Macedonia: Opposition activists to demonstrate in front of Ministry of Health in Skopje from 11:30 March 27

Members of the opposition Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization - Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity (VMRO-DPMNE) plan to demonstrate in central Skopje March 27. The purpose of the demonstration is to demand the resignation of Minister of Health Venko Filipce, whom oppositionists accuse of mishandling the COVID-19 health crisis. Participants will gather in front of the Ministry of Health starting at 11:30.

Large crowds, and associated crowd-control measures, including possible movement restrictions and road closures, will likely lead to disruptions in central Skopje. Isolated security disturbances are possible.
