Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are maintaining the nation's COVID-19 restrictions as of June 19. Domestic measures vary between the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and the Republic Srpska (RS).

Authorities in FBiH lifted the nationwide curfew May 20. Nonessential businesses in FBiH, including restaurants, bars, and shops, are open unless otherwise indicated, and are subject to hygiene and social distancing requirements. Public gatherings are limited to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors; larger events are permitted subject to capacity limits and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or recovery or a negative COVID-19 taken within the previous 48 hours. The use of facemasks and the practice of social distancing are required in indoor and outdoor public spaces where social distancing of two meters (6.5 feet) cannot be observed.

In Republic Srpska public gatherings are limited to 120 people, while private gatherings may not exceed 70 persons. Most nonessential businesses are operating, though catering facilities must close by 00:01. Facemasks must be worn in indoor public spaces and in outdoor public spaces where social distancing of two meters (6.5 feet) cannot be observed.

Foreign nationals are permitted to enter the country provided they possess documentation showing they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or that they have tested negative using a PCR test; the test must have been taken within 48 hours prior to arrival if coming from somewhere in Europe, or 72 hours if arriving from a country not in Europe. Cabin crews, freight crews, diplomats, members of foreign militaries stationed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and passengers transiting the country are not required to provide a negative test. Citizens of Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro, as well as their immediate family members, can enter without a negative COVID-19 test, provided they are entering from their country of citizenship.

Restrictions may be extended or otherwise amended with little to no advance notice, depending on disease activity in the country.
