Members of the Nepal Petroleum Tanker Driver Union announced an end to their strike in Bagmati Province late June 15. Participants had launched the action June 13 to demand vaccinations from government authorities. Union leaders agreed to end the strike following assurances from authorities that fuel tanker drivers would receive vaccines from June 16.

Lingering fuel delivery disruptions are possible in Bagmati Province, which occupies the Kathmandu Valley and nearby areas, as supplies normalize.
