North Macedonia lifts COVID-19 curfew from June 16; few restrictions remain in place.
Event
Authorities in North Macedonia plan to lift the nation's nightly COVID-19-related curfew starting June 16. In addition, as of the same date, authorities will increase the permitted number of attendees at weddings to 100 and allow outdoor concerts and parties.
Most businesses and facilities are permitted to operate, provided they implement certain hygiene and social distancing measures. Facemasks must be worn in indoor public spaces.
North Macedonia's land borders are open. International flights are operating; individuals arriving via air may be subject to health screening on arrival and may have to undergo quarantine measures if displaying COVID-19 symptoms. Travelers from India are required to self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival.
Authorities could extend, ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice, depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
