Uruguay: Teachers to strike in Montevideo, Aug. 2; protests possible

The Association of Teachers of Uruguay has called for a 24-hour strike in Montevideo, Aug. 2. The action has been called to denounce an alleged assault on a teacher by a parent. The incident occurred in the Punta de Rieles area.
