Authorities are maintaining COVID-19-related domestic restrictions as of Aug. 20. A daily 00:00-06:00 curfew remains in effect and facemasks remain mandatory in indoor public spaces, other than bars or restaurants. Capacity limits are in effect for most premises and gatherings are capped at 50 people.

All land borders are open, and no mandatory testing or quarantine requirements are in place. International flights and maritime passenger transport continue to operate to and from Albania. Air passengers must sign a COVID-19 declaration before boarding their flight and could undergo health screening; those displaying symptoms of COVID-19 will be barred from entry.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
