Protests have been reported along a portion of the Nairobi-Mombasa (A109) highway in Mombasa, Aug. 11. Protesters from Mombasa's Bangladesh area are denouncing disruptions to the water supply. A security contingent has been deployed to the area to disperse protesters.

Ground travel disruptions are likely for the duration of the protest. Clashes are possible if protesters become unruly or refuse orders to disperse.
