Nigeria: Authorities implement a security-related curfew in Ado, Benue State, in late September
As of Sept. 27, an 18:00-06:00 curfew is in place in Ado Local Government Area, Benue State, Nigeria.

Authorities in the Ado Local Government Area (LGA), Benue State, announced, Sept. 25 that an 18:00-06:00 nightly curfew would be enforced until further notice. The curfew was implemented following inter-communal clashes in the Apa and Agila districts in the Ado LGA and is reportedly still in place as of Sept. 27.
Authorities will likely maintain a heightened security presence across the impacted area in the near term. Localized transport disruptions are likely. Officials could also expand the restrictions if the security situation worsens. Protests in response to the measures are also possible. Should any protests occur, the potential for clashes is elevated.
