The Manila Water Company has announced that a planned water outage will occur in parts of Mandaluyong and San Juan cities, Metro Manila, 23:00 Sept. 20-05:00 Sept. 21 due to maintenance works. Affected areas include Shaw Boulevard, near Ideal Street in front of Nissan Shaw, and Addition Hills Barangay. The water outage will affect more than 38,000 households and commercial establishments.

Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely heavily on municipal water to maintain operations.

Stock up on drinking water in advance. Confirm alternative water supplies for business operations. Pressure and water quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Minimize nonessential water use throughout the outage. Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes.
