Event
A freight train collided with a minibus at a level crossing in the Ergene District of Tekirdag Province at approximately 08:00 Sept. 4. At least six people have been killed and at least five others injured; all of the deceased were on the minibus, reportedly carrying local factory workers.
The train was reportedly traveling from Edirne to Cerkezoy. Disruptions are likely on the affected line through at least the end of Sept. 4. Traffic disruptions are also likely in Ergene until the route has been cleared.
