Train services on Abuja-Kaduna route to resume Oct. 23 after attack near Rijana, Nigeria, Oct. 20. Lingering disruptions possible.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) announced Oct. 22 that passenger services along the Abuja-Kaduna route are expected to resume Oct. 23. Services on the route were suspended after militants detonated an explosive device along the rail line between Rijana and Dutse Oct. 20.
Lingering disruptions to rail services remain possible through at least Oct. 23.
