Water supply disruptions are ongoing in parts Kuala Lumpur and Selangor as of Nov. 9. Air Selangor attributed the disruptions to a burst pipe at Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 in Kuala Lumpur. The affected areas include Kampung Cheras Baru, Pandan Mewah, Taman Bukit Pandan, Taman Bukit Permai, Taman Bukit Teratai, Taman Mawar, Taman Mega, Taman Melur, Taman Mestika, Taman Muda, Taman Putra, Taman Saga, and Taman Seraya. Air Selangor stated that repair works are expected to be complete at around 11:30 Nov. 10; water supply will resume in stages. The company has deployed water tanks to the affected locations.

Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely heavily on municipal water to maintain operations.
