Mexico: Protest planned outside Mexico City International Airport Nov. 9

Activists plan to protest outside Terminal 1 of Mexico City International Airport (MEX) from 08:30 Nov. 9. Family members will protest the shortage of medication needed for children's cancer treatment. Organizers have plans to continue protesting in the same location on a weekly basis if the medicine shortage is not addressed by the authorities.

Security forces will likely monitor the protest. Localized transport and business disruptions are likely around MEX on Nov. 9. Clashes between protesters and police cannot be ruled out, especially if police attempt to forcibly disperse demonstrators.
