Reports indicate that activists associated with the anti-establishment group Anonymous have organized a demonstration in Lagos Nov. 5 as part of the annual so-called "Million Mask March." Participants will gather at the FHA Field from 11:00; the FHA Field is located on 24 Road, Festac Town. The purpose of the action, should it take place, is to denounce what activists perceive as increasing government encroachment on civil liberties and rising inequality. Participation is unclear, but unlikely to be considerable.

Authorities will likely deploy police forces to monitor the event. Increased security and the presence of protesters will likely prompt localized transport disruptions. Isolated skirmishes with security forces cannot be ruled out entirely.
