Suspected armed bandits engaged security personnel at the custodial center at 17:20 before gaining entry into the facility. Authorities have confirmed that around 252 inmates escaped. During the clashes, up to ten individuals died, including a correctional officer. The identity and exact motive of the attackers remain unclear.
