The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Tornado Warning for parts of Providence County in Rhode Island during the evening of Nov. 13. The warning covers the cities of Providence, Warwick, and Cranston. The warning is active through at least 17:45. A related warning is in effect for an area of the county encompassing the towns of Greenville, Chepachet, Harmony, and Foster until 17:30.

The weather warnings could be extended or expanded at short notice.
