Grenada: Authorities maintain curfew, other COVID-19-related restrictions as of Dec. 4 /update 39
Grenada maintains nationwide curfew hours, other COVID-19-related restrictions as of Dec. 4.
Event
As of Dec. 4, authorities in Grenada maintain in place several domestic and travel restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19. Most measures remain unchanged as compared to those in place in early November.
International Travel Restrictions
All travelers must complete a Health Declaration Certificate and show proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in Grenada. Upon arrival, travelers will undergo a health screening.
Nonresident foreign nationals aged 12 years and older must be fully vaccinated to be allowed into Grenada. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their last dose of an approved vaccine (AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm, or Sinovac).
Citizens and residents may enter Grenada if they are not fully vaccinated. They must have a confirmation of an approved accommodation, where they will complete a seven-day quarantine upon arrival. They must take a PCR test on day five following their arrival, and if negative, they can end the quarantine after completing seven days.
Domestic Measures
A nightly 23:59-04:00 curfew remains in place nationwide. Additionally, private gatherings are limited to 75 people, except for weddings and funerals, which do not have a specific limit but must be held in venues where social distancing is possible. The use of facemasks remains mandatory in public spaces, and only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to dine in at restaurants. Sporting and cultural events cannot allow spectators.
Authorities could tighten, ease, or otherwise amend the existing travel requirements and curfew measures with little-to-no notice, depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
Advice
Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements.
