Unidentified assailants fired at least four projectiles towards or near Baghdad International Airport (BGW) the morning of Jan. 28. The target of the attack was reportedly Camp Victory. There have been no reports of casualties or significant damage. It is not clear if the incident has disrupted flights at BGW.
Increased security is likely in the impact area as authorities investigate and respond to the incident. Additional attacks targeting military installations or US interests cannot be ruled out.

Heed the instructions of local security forces. If incoming artillery fire is reported in the general vicinity, stay indoors, away from windows and exterior walls.
