Facemasks remain mandatory in indoor public spaces and on public transport. Capacity limits are in effect for some premises, and only 50 people can participate in outdoor gatherings. Individuals who do not possess such proof will need to take a PCR test every five days.

International Travel Restrictions

Travelers older than six years of age need to present either a certificate indicating that they were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival, a valid document indicating recovery from COVID-19 within the last six months, a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival, or a negative result from a rapid antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before arrival. Albanian nationals returning to the country without one of the abovementioned documents can quarantine for 10 days and take a COVID-19 test at the end of the quarantine period.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
