Bus drivers suspend strike in Noumea, New Caledonia, as of Feb. 27.

Drivers of Karuia Bus, which runs Noumea's bus system, have suspended their strike in Noumea as of Feb. 27 following talks with the Joint Syndicate of Urban Transport (SMTU). Organizers had commenced the strike Feb. 14 to demand improved working conditions. Bus services are providing normal services.
