Venezuela: Protest in Caracas, Feb. 8

Teachers, students, and general employees of the Central University of Venezuela plan to protest at the Plaza del Rectorado in Caracas from 10:00 Feb. 8. The action is to demand better wages for teachers. Dozens of people may attend the protest.

Security forces may deploy to monitor the gathering. Some localized ground travel delays may occur. Violence is unlikely.
