Event
Additional protests against high fuel prices are likely in Tirana through at least mid-March. Demonstrators will probably rally in front of the Office of the Prime Minister. Notably, several hundred demonstrators gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office for a second consecutive night and blocked roads in the city center, including the ring road around Skanderbeg Square, from 17:00 March 10. A large gathering is reportedly planned in central Tirana from 11:00 March 12; the exact location of the protest remains unclear. Related demonstrations are possible in other cities nationwide.
