Denmark: Authorities lift all COVID-19-related international entry restrictions as of March 29 /update 50
Denmark lifts all COVID-19-related international entry restrictions effective March 29; minimal domestic measures in effect.
Event
Authorities in Denmark have lifted all remaining COVID-19-related international travel measures effective March 29. Only minimal domestic measures remain in force.
Domestic Measures
Most domestic measures have been lifted. The use of facemasks and the "coronapas" digital COVID-19 certificate is still recommended at hospitals and elderly care homes. The coronapas serves as proof that the holder is vaccinated against, recovered from, or recently tested negative for COVID-19. It is valid for seven months, after which the holder must receive a booster vaccination in order to extend the certificate's validity. Businesses, private cultural institutions, and associations or clubs retain the right to impose their own COVID-19-related restrictions.
International Travel Restrictions
Effective March 29, there are no COVID-19-related international entry restrictions in effect.
Advice
Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays.
