Agricultural workers affiliated with the National Farming Federation (Federacion Nacional Campesina, FNC) and indigenous organizations have gathered to protest in Asuncion March 21. Participants are denouncing a law that allegedly increases penalties on land occupation. Activists have gathered at Plaza Uruguaya and blocked Doctor Jose Eligio Ayala road. Other possible protest locations in Asuncion include Plaza Italia and Plaza de la Democracia.
