Bosnia and Herzegovina: Veteran's Organization calls for rally in Banja Luka April 20

Members of the Veteran's Organization will rally in Banja Luka from 17:00 April 20 to denounce a proposed real estate law. Participants will gather in Krajina Square; attendance will likely not exceed the low hundreds.

Additional police will likely deploy to monitor and facilitate the gathering. Large numbers of people and associated crowd-control measures could lead to localized transport disruptions. Scuffles between police and protesters cannot be ruled out.

Avoid the protest as a routine security precaution, and to mitigate associated disruptions; leave the area at the first sign of a confrontation. Allow extra time if traveling in the vicinity of the demonstration April 20.
