Authorities in Mali have eased most COVID-19-related domestic measures and travel restrictions as of April 12.
Domestic Measures
Domestically, wearing facemasks is no longer mandatory in public spaces, while all social activities may resume at full capacity, provided participants are fully vaccinated.
International Travel Restrictions
Air and land borders are open. Enhanced screening measures are likely in effect. Fully vaccinated travelers can enter and leave the country without restrictions. Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. Upon departure from Mali, unvaccinated travelers must present a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before travel.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
