Context

Truck drivers have caused significant road traffic disruptions around Paraguay in recent weeks. More recently, protesters gathered outside the Paraguayan Petroleums (Petroleos Paraguayos, PETROPAR) in Villa Elisa April 11, on the outskirts of Asuncion, causing significant delays for traffic in and out of the capital.
