Event

A group of individuals destroyed a bus on May 23 by throwing incendiary devices at it near the intersection of Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins, widely known as Alemeda, and Avenida Ricardo Cumming, in Santiago. The passengers of the bus were unharmed. Transport disruptions are ongoing as of the morning of May 23 as authorities investigate the scene. Police are likely to deploy not only to the scene of the attack but to other transport hubs in Santiago. While authorities have said that they have arrested two people in connection to the attack, they have not yet announced a motive.
