Informational

Event

Authorities will intermittently close the airspace at and around the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB) in Subang, Selangor State, through the morning of June 1. Officials have attributed the policy to a military ceremony at the site 08:30-09:50 June 1. Reports indicate that several airlines have canceled some flights serving SZB in recent days due to related rehearsals.

Additional flight cancelations and delays may occur at SZB through the morning of June 1. Ground travel disruptions are possible around SZB due to the movement of participating military vehicles and personnel.

SZB is located just northeast of Shah Alam.

Advice

Confirm flight schedules at SZB through June 1. Do not check out of accommodations until verifying onward travel. Plan for possible ground travel disruptions around SZB.
