New Caledonia: Runway maintenance to take place at La Tontouta International Airport in Noumea through May

Officials will carry out resurfacing works at La Tontouta International Airport (NOU) in Noumea through at least May. The runway maintenance work will likely lead to intermittent airspace closures at the facility.

Authorities have not indicated that the work will lead to international flight disruptions; however, domestic flight disruptions are possible. Air Caledonie (TY) has warned that it may adjust flight schedules or cancel flights due to work.
