Emergency crews are responding to a factory fire in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, May 19. Reports indicate that the automobile parts factory is located in Wonwon-dong, Danwon District. At least two workers are injured. The cause of the blaze remains unclear. The fire department has mobilized 90 firefighters to contain the fire.

Heightened security, as well as localized business and transport disruptions, are likely in the area. Localized transport disruptions may last through at least the evening of May 19. Operations at nearby facilities may also face delays or interruptions. Lingering disruptions are possible after firefighting and investigations end.

The incident site is approximately 10 km (6 miles) southeast of Incheon.
