Turkey: Activists to protest in Istanbul, June 1

Activists plan to protest near the Caglayan Courthouse in Istanbul from around 10:00 June 1. The demonstration has been called to support the organization, We Will Stop Femicide Platform Association (Kadin Cinayetlerini Durduracagiz Platformu Dernegi), which is facing closure by officials due to allegations of alleged 'unlawful and immoral activities.' Hundreds of people are likely to participate in the event.
