Members of the EYT retiree group plan to protest at the Maltepe Event Area in the Orhangazi City Park in Maltepe, Istanbul, from 12:00-15:00 on May 15. Demonstrators will petition for greater rights for retired individuals. Thousands of people are likely to participate. Labor unions and groups may join the protest. Additional demonstrations in other provinces are possible; should these occur, they are likely to be held in major city squares and popular gathering areas.
