Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) activists plan to hold a rally and a march in Sarajevo June 25. Participants will gather from 15:00 to 17:00 at the Vjecna vatra (Eternal Flame) before marching down Marsala Tita Street to the National Museum. Speeches and other programs will be held from 18:30 until 20:00.
A counterprotest is scheduled to be held in Otoka district from 10:00 until 12:30. Other spontaneous demonstrations are also possible.
Heightened security is almost certain at the Pride march and any counterprotests. While the actions will likely pass peacefully, low-level scuffles between police, parade participants, and opposing activists cannot be ruled out. Localized transport disruptions are likely in affected areas. Public transit routes and schedules may change during the planned events.
