The water agency Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco) announced that maintenance activities would cause planned water supply disruptions in parts of Ho Chi Minh City 21:00 June 18-05:00 June 19. Outages will occur in all parts of districts 1, 3, 4, 5, and 10, and Phu Nuan District, and some wards of districts 7, 8, and 11, Binh Thanh and Tan Binh districts, and Thu Duc City. Additionally, some wards in Binh Chanh and Tan Binh districts will experience low water pressure
While some residents may rely on private water suppliers and water tankers during water shortages, such services may be limited due to increased demand. Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water. Prolonged and recurrent water supply disruptions are possible in Ho Chi Minh City in the coming days.
