Residents of Sarajevo and Banja Luka will protest in these cities on July 6 over high fuel prices. Participants are calling on the government to take measures to immediately reduce fuel prices. The larger of the two gatherings will likely take place in Sarajevo, where several thousand people will gather outside Skenderija Plato shopping mall around 15:30 before marching to Parliament on Hamdije Kresevljakovica. In Banja Luka, an unknown number of participants will gather in Krajine Square around 19:00 for a rally.

Authorities will deploy additional police to monitor and facilitate the gatherings. Large crowds and related security measures will likely prompt localized traffic disruptions. While significant violence is not anticipated, scuffles between police and protesters cannot be ruled out.
